In 2015, the CYPRES Consortium won the European Horizon2020 SME Phase 2 project. This programme groups European Union funding for research and innovation and focuses on three main priorities: scientific excellence, industrial leadership and societal challenges.
CYPRES received funding of 1,7 million Euros for the development and commercialisation of its solution. This success led to it being the first company in the Rhône-Alpes region and among the 5% of the participants to be the winner of the program.
In 2014, the Rhône-Alpes region supported the emergence of the CYPRES project with the IDECLIC INNOVATION STRATEGY PROGRAMME funding. This funding was destined to support Rhône-Alpes companies engaged in a global innovation process aimed at improving their industrial performance and competitive advantage. Project CYPRES has been recognised as carrying an important strategic issue.
In November 2014 the demonstration was presented to potential customers to gauge the interest generated for industrial feasibility. Also present were cyber-security experts and researchers. SOGILIS contributed to the development of the demonstration and also to listen to the comments that were made. Their contribution was decisive in assessing the interest in a product and to the decision of seeking funding for its development.
